How come I can’t register for a class even though I have the co-requisite?

The system that checks whether or not a co-requisite is satisfied cannot deal with an “or” statement. This will typically occur when there is a MATH course that is a co-requisite, such as MATH-121 is the co-requisite to CEEGR 105. The system should be set up as “MATH-121 or MATH-121PL;” however, this requires that OIT write a sub-routine which cannot be done in time for registration for Spring 08.

In these instances, it will be necessary for the department to register a student manually
